Worka-B allows you to set up all your own costing information, so your team can quote or estimate work and produce all the admin documents at the click of a button on from 1 to 10 workstations.

The production department is well supported by Worka-B with such reports as 'Jobs Progress' showing where each job is at, covering up to 12 separate departments with 'days to job completion' shown. Also, a comprehensive 'Job Summary by Department' report that shows total costs of various production areas with useful information about 'Average Order Value' per job. You can also integrate our Budget Codes feature (a modestly priced extra module) and output data files plus invoice batches to your finance department. Estimates & Booking in Jobs:

As a council M.I.S. software supplier of many years standing we are fully aware that estimating is usually only one part of the daily admin workload.

That's why we offer a Speed Job Entry feature to handle the main area of operation which is normally about booking in jobs and/or stationery supply orders. We provide in-house invoicing data output in *.csv format (with Budget Codes and optional Stock Control) for the Finance Department to re-charge other council departments and sometimes for non budget coded outside customers for the printing, copying, digital work being done by your printing department.

Additional Financial Reports:

It is not uncommon for our council in-plant managers to be able to provide more comprehensive print throughput information than their own Finance Departments. 

That's why we automatically generate many variants of financial reports covering job values by work type and customer, plus work sent to
sub-contractors. This is all done behind the scenes by our integrated database and requires  no special input or extra work by you. 

This instant information is especially useful if new questions about the printing throughput are suddenly posed due to new management policies.
